Fee in Hyderabad:
Registration fee is the amount charged for keeping a record
of the transactions concerning property. In most states of India, this fee is
1% of the property value. However, in Andhra Pradesh, the registration fee is
0.5% of the property value. It means that if you purchase a property worth Rs.
20, 00,000, you will have to pay Rs. 10, 000 as the registration fee.
The Stamp Duty in
Hyderabad:
Stamp duty is a tax which is levied on all the legal
documents by the government. Stamp duty will be paid as 4% of the property
value, in Hyderabad. This rate of 4%
became applicable from April 1, 2013 onwards. Previously, this rate was 5%.
The Transfer Charges
in Hyderabad:
The transfer duty levied in Hyderabad is 1.5% of the
property value. This rate became applicable from April 1, 2013. Prior to April
1, 2013, the rate of transfer duty was 2% in Hyderabad, and 3% in the rural
parts of Andhra Pradesh.
